USCIS Fee Schedule Litigation

USCIS form and flag

In ILRC v. Wolf, the government filed a motion for voluntary dismissal of its appeal. The fee rule was temporarily enjoined in its entirety in October 2020. This motion ensures that the USCIS fee rule will remain enjoined in its entirety. USCIS cannot implement the increased fees or the policy changes included in the fee rule!!!

This means the new outrageous fee increase that USCIS announced in August will not go into effect any time soon. So, if you are thinking about filing your immigration paperwork, now is the time. Give us a call as soon as possible.
