Itzel Sigaran
Fighting For a Secure Future For You & Your Family
About
Itzel Sigaran is originally from Dallas, Texas, where she was raised in a proud immigrant community shaped by her Salvadoran and Mexican heritage. Growing up, she witnessed firsthand the resilience and sacrifices of immigrant families, which inspired her passion for immigration law.
Itzel began playing soccer at the age of four and continued competing through college at Centenary College of Louisiana. There, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in 2022, majoring in Philosophy and Political Science with a focus on Latin American political ideology and regional studies, which deepened her understanding of the cultural and political forces that shape migration.
After returning to Dallas, Itzel attended UNT Dallas College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor in 2025. During law school, she joined Christensen Immigration Attorneys in May 2023 as a law clerk, gaining extensive hands-on experience working closely with clients and assisting with immigration cases. Her years with the firm allowed her to transition seamlessly into her role as an attorney. In addition, Itzel served as a legal extern with Catholic Charities of Dallas, where she worked on removal defense, asylum and refugee matters, employment authorization applications, and motions before the immigration court.
Itzel officially joined Christensen Immigration Attorneys as a full-time attorney in December 2025. As a bilingual attorney, she is committed to ensuring clients feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout the immigration process. She is an active member of the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association and the Mexican American Bar Association and is proud to serve the Dallas–Fort Worth community.
